2010-A New Year to Serve God In!

Happy New Year! As 2010 is upon us, it's time to think about goals for the new year. Many people make it their goal to "lose weight," "spend less time watching TV," or "do more constructive things with their time." While those are good goals to aim for, how often do you hear about someone using his or her life to serve God? In most crowds...not often.

Here are a few things I will be working toward in this new year:
  • Read through the entire Bible.
    • I already accomplished this last year, but a child of God never "finishes" reading the Bible! Doing this last year, I grew so much in my relationship with God...I look forward to another year of growth!
  • Finish college.
    • Being almost halfway through college since starting late last March, I hope to finish off my 120 total credits at the end of 2010. This is more a hope than anything, but with enough hard studying, it should be possible!
  • Use my abilities for furthering God's Kingdom.
    •  God has given me several gifts, and it is my desire to let Him work through me to bring the lost to Christ.
  • Read more often.
    • Ever since I started college, my "leisure" reading has decreased dramatically. Through good management of my time, I should be able to finish books before three months have passed.
So, what are your goals? What will you do in 2010?

    1. I'm still deciding on my goals, really... Nothing really stands out for me to do, yet.
